Team Mercedes has been a dominant force in the world of Formula 1 in recent years. The team, which is based in Brackley, England, has won the Constructors' Championship every year since 2014 and has produced some of the most successful drivers in the sport's history. In this article, we'll take a closer look at Team Mercedes and their success in Formula 1.

History

The team now known as Mercedes was originally founded in 1970 as Tyrrell Racing. In 1999, the team was sold to British American Tobacco and became BAR. In 2005, Mercedes-Benz acquired a 40% stake in the team, and in 2009, they bought the remaining shares to become the sole owner of the team. In 2010, the team was rebranded as Mercedes Grand Prix, and they made their return to Formula 1 as a works team.
